BAT Instructor Handbook

This handbook is the U.S. Department of Transportation’s model course to train Breath Alcohol Technicians (BAT) to perform breath alcohol testing in accordance with 49 CFR Part 40 of the U.S Department of Transportation's Alcohol Testing Procedures. This handbook provides a complete and detailed blueprint of the BAT course including sequence of instruction, student exercises and self testing. For use by qualified Instructors.
